Egresado de la Facultad de Humanidades de la UABC. Trabaja a través del registro de su vida cotidiana, mezclando metodologías documentales, experimentales y de autoficción. En sus películas ha abordado con humor temas cotidianos como el trabajo, la vida familiar, la amistad y el duelo; desafiando las narrativas dominantes sobre la violencia en Tijuana. Sus películas han sido premiadas en FICUNAM, FIDMarseille, Ji.hlava, MIDBO, ZINEBI, Los Cabos y FICENS. También se han exhibido en Anthology Film Archives, el Foro Internacional de la Cineteca Nacional de México, FICValdivia, Mar del Plata, Márgenes, Frontera Sur, Cámara Lúcida y Corriente No Ficción. Su obra ha sido objeto de retrospectivas en el Festival Universitario de Cine EUREKA (2022, Bogotá) y en el Spectacle Theater (2025, Brooklyn). Su película Un techo sin cielo (2025) recibió el premio a Mejor Película Mexicana en FICUNAM y en Los Cabos. Ganador del Prince Claus Fund - Seed Award 2025 (Países Bajos).
Graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at UABC. His work blends documentary, experimental, and autofictional methodologies through the record of his daily life. In his films he humorously addresses mundane themes such as work, family, friendship and mourning; challenging the dominant narratives around violence in Tijuana. His films have been awarded at FICUNAM, FIDMarseille, Ji.hlava, MIDBO, ZINEBI, Los Cabos and FICENS. They have also been featured at Anthology Film Archives, International Forum of the Mexican Cinematheque, Mar del Plata, FICValdivia, Márgenes, Frontera Sur, Cámara Lúcida and Corriente – No Ficción. His work has been the subject of retrospectives at EUREKA University Film Festival (2022, Bogotá) and at Spectacle Theater (2025, Brooklyn). His film A skyless roof (2025) won the Prize for Best Mexican Film at FICUNAM and Los Cabos. Prince Claus Fund - Seed Award 2025 recipient (Netherlands).
